Registration and flags had been removed from HA-TCB IL76. The new operator of the aircraft is still unknown.
A long-term cooperation arrangement has been concluded between Malév and the Goldtimer Foundation, operator of the world’s only airworthy Lisunov Li-2 veteran plane. Under the terms of the agreement the national carrier will provide specialist assistance and facilities in order that Li-2 aircraft registration number HA-LIX is able to take to the skies in its original, 1960s Malév colours. The repainting is being undertaken by the team at Malév affiliate Aeroplex of Central Europe Kft. based at Ferihegy. (source: malev.hu)

Interesting IL-76 is sitting on the apron of FlyBalaton Airport (LHSM). The aircraft wears TN-AHT registration and a small black Heavylift Congo title. The crew has left for Ukraine by train about two weeks ago.
Engineers carried out successful engine tests on Ilyushin 76 HA-TCB (ex UR-78736) on 12 July. The aircraft has been stored at Ferihegy since the early 2000s. In the early 90s, Hungarian Ukrainian Heavylift Corporation used the Ilyushin with an operating base at Budapest. It took part as a key aircraft in the memorable earthquake relief flights between Budapest and Yerevan Later on, its operator were known as Hunair and flights were concentrated in Africa, especially in Angola. The IL returned to Budepest from time to time, but only for maintenance. Due the disagreements between CAA and Hunair, the airplane has been left on the apron of Budapest Airport for years. Hopefully, HA-TCB will take off in the near future for a ferry flight.
FlyLAL will add Vilnius-Budapest flights three times a week with Saab 2000 on 28 Oct.
Following Cargolux and Air Bridge Cargo, Chinese operator Jade Cargo is going to start twice weekly flights from Shenzhen to Budapest from Aug, with Boeing 747-400 Freighters.
Tahmid Air started Atyrau Budapest regular charter flights twice a month with Boeing 737-200 UN-B3709. Ave.com alse operates the Boeing 737-200 to Budapest on its monthly charter flight from Baghdad.
Wizz Air Ukraine would start
operating an initial network of seven Ukrainian domestic routes from
its operating base at Kiev Boryspil Airport on 11 July 2008. Wizz Air
Ukraine will provide low fare air travel service from Kiev Boryspil
Airport to Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol, Kharkov and Zaporozhye. Flights
from Lviv and Kharkov to Simferopol, the popular Krym resort will also
be available to the Ukrainian travellers.
Smart Wings (Travel Service) opens up regular flights from Budapest to Dubai on May 13, 2008 with 1x week rotation frequency.
